The game is fun but I feel like Ive wasted money buying additional songs since the app keeps freezing. I try to play something and then it makes me miss notes. Please fix this.

If you want all the songs it will cost you $40. So overpriced for what it is. Also while I was playing the 2 free songs the game kept stuttering, which is something that can NOT happen during a rhythm game.

This game for me is my guilty pleasure, as I am addicted to the final fantasy music. This is an awesome awesome game for the iPad, Ive had no bug issues no glitches and no download problems. I think I would give more songs for a starter pack, but really you cant complain starting out with one winged angel! Beautiful game and concept.

I have an iPod 4th Gen Which runs ios 6. Here is a game that supposedly runs on IOS 4.3. So why does it not work on IOS6!!! I set up my profile, go into practice, it crashes. I try again, start playing one winged angel on expert, set up my party from the 3DS version, start the song, it loads, then crashes. I loved this game on 3DS, and I sold it for some reason (Probably needed money for something, it was a year or two ago) and I download this to re live the game. But I am unable to as it cant run on 6 when it claims it works on 4.

I adore this game, in fact, it would probably be my favorite game on the App Store it actually ran without crashing and freezing at random points. Believe me Square, I would fork out the dough for this game if you would let me, but if there is no possible way for me to get an SS rank on every song then there is no point. PLEASE update, the customers have spoken, and you know what you need to do. PLEASE!!!

This is probably one of my favorite series right now. I have both this and Curtain Call on 3DS, though this cannot surpass Curtain Call and can stand on its own the first Theatrhythm, however, there are some caveats...: First, to obtain all the sons you have to pay an egregious price (spent fifty dollars on this version, when I only spent twenty on the 3DS version); Second, it is almost a perfect port, but, there is some frame rate stuttering which can make you miss a note when you have a perfect chain going, this could be ameliorated with a patch, but seeing that this has not been updated since 2012, I do not see that happening; Finally, this isnt just indicative of just Square, however, why not charge a price of a 3DS game, instead of all the IAPs? More consumers would be willing to pay for apps if the developers are upfront about the costs. I know business and money go hand in hand but why charge people double on iOS than the ones the own a 3DS. Minor quibbles aside, this is a great port of a fantastic game.

The graphics are adorable, theres a good variety of characters to pick from, and the mechanics of the game is great. I would easily rate this app 5 stars however there is one MAJOR flaw and that is the available track list on initial download. This app only comes with two songs to play. I thought that maybe you earned songs as you played through the levels but that is not the case. You can purchase more songs and characters in the store but I personally do not spend my actual money on app. I expected my available track list to be small but not just two songs. Its really disappointing since I liked everything else about it.

There needs to be more songs. Im sick of playing the same only two songs over and over again. How can they be creative enough to think of this game but not know to add more songs? Im going to delete it. No use in going further. Fun in the beginning.

Id love to play this but its basically impossible for me, being left handed. Everything comes from the left and theres no comfortable way to hold it in which my hand doesnt block the coming notes. If there were some sort of flip/inverse option for lefties where the notes came from the right, then it could be playable.

I love this game very much but I have a problem where I download some songs and it disappears, making me re-download them constantly. Please fix this!

Even though Ive only played the demo of the 3DS version, I can still tell that its WAY better than this version. And even though I have a 4th gen iPod touch, it still let me run the game but wouldnt let me play a level.

However it fails miserably due to the DLC. You will need to pay more than $149 dollars to enjoy the game to its full potential. So sad Square Enix decided to ruin such a perfect app with their greed. Heres to hoping they fix the game.

I was super excited to see this. Ive always wanted to play it but I dont a 3DS so when I saw it in the App Store I was over the moon. But I just cant get myself to love this game. The most frustrating thing is the lag. For a music rhythm game any lag makes it really hard to play. It just isnt fun when it is almost impossible to get through a level because of lagging issues. I also dont like the in app purchases. Yes, it is technically free to play. And they give you a good amount of characters to start out with. But, with only two songs to start it gets boring fast. I didnt mind buying a few of my favorite songs but to unlock the full potential of this game youd have to spend over $100. Plus, I was really hoping the characters would be unlocked as you progressed through the game. Instead they are $1.99 each to add on. They arent really necessary to play but its a little annoying. Honestly, I think Id be better off buying a used 3DS and the full game than spending any more money on this.

Right off the bat, you have 2 songs and main characters from the franchise: Cloud, Squall, Firion, ... And guess what??? You have to pay for the rest, there is no alternative way to get the other without throwing money.

I love the final fantasy series and I had watched a couple videos for this game. I downloaded it and it doesnt even work! the farthest I get is the "now loading..." screen after you choose your characters, then it freezes and goes back to my home screen. like seriously! I just want to play!

A goo company and a good game but I had this game before and I purchased stuff and I restored it but it still says I need to purchase it, this is bull crap.

The first FF game,yes but its better on 3DS but whatever...

If you can stand to play only two songs, with the characters they give you, yeah, its a great game. But I wanted new stages and characters, so purchased them. The next day they told me Id have to re-download everything Id bought. Turns out what they really meant was Id have to RE-BUY everything.

I bought a few songs before a long while ago. Sold my iPad then couple years later bought a new one. Downloaded and installed and it did not keep history of my purchase. What a waste.
