you just buy the songs ur interested in where in my case I only spent about $15 for 30 songs fairly reasonable now If u like them all dont DL :P

I am not a huge fan of micro-transaction but I am happy with this one. Reason being I dont want all the songs, just the ones that bring back the fondest memories of my FF experience. So SE thank you so much for Sanctuary of Zitah I love this song so much.

While I enjoy the overall concept of this game it becomes totally intolerable when every couple of days I have to re download all the content Ive purchased because it disappears. This has happened across 2 different phones so its not my tech; they also make re downloading your content an arduous pain in the A

Its definitely one of the better rhythm games Ive played and I love the nostalgia trip, but the overpriced nature of the dlc, the removal of some of the 3DS features, and an annoying bug hold it back. If you only want to include two songs thats fine, but dont charge an arm and a leg for every other song just because you think you can. And why remove the 3DS features? There is nothing wrong with them, and please explain to me why I still have an annoying bug that causes the game to hang up for a second on every song regardless of which iOS device I am on? When I try for a perfect song and this bug causes me to miss a note I get infuriated. No excuse for this.

You wont regret it. So awesome. Its fun and challenging. A must for Final Fantasy fans. Love the songs. I just wish there were more! The only problem is rare occasional lag that may cause you to miss a note but other than that its the best. Try to get to Level 99 three (3) times!!

A wonderful game, I have both this and the 3DS version and this port does not disappoint, just be prepared to fork over a few dollars for the songs you want. The game plays well and is overall a fantastic port. Nothing in life is free and Square Enix wants you to know that.

Iam a final fantasy fan and i like this game for the reason that i can hear all the final fantasy soundtracks and play with my favorite characters but.. I cant play it . Everytime that i start a game it kicks me out ... Whats going on !!

I downloaded 2 additional songs, when I opened the game today it said I would have to redownload the songs, when I went to do that it asked me to confirm my in app purchase of 99c? Ive already paid for it let me redownload without being bothered by this?

The only thing that I wish was available was more characters. Like Fran and kuja. But will the next one become available for iOS? I hope so. :3

Ive played this game on my sisters iPad... And I LOVED it. Unfortunately, my iPhone doesnt have enough room for it. So I go on my Galaxy and its not there. You have all of the games you have to pay for, but not this one?? Kinda pisses me off.

Might end up buying a whole bundle because the song isnt individually for sale. Also, main issue is that when you leave the app, all the bought songs disappear and you have to redownload them. I have never played the 3DS version of its sequel but from my own perspective a fun and challenging game. My friend who owns both the first and second Theatrhythm was quite impressed as well.

Game is a lot of fun, until you loose because of a strange pause in the middle of the game. When the game returns you are dead because you missed so man notes! I will not buy any more songs until this is fixed. Back to the 3ds version!!!!!!!!

Hadnt played in awhile. I opened it up to play and am notified I need to redownload previously purchased songs. I go to download them, but I cant because the software attempts to charge my account! Ive spent about 30 dollars on this game and I cant believe I cant access the content I paid for anymore.

The character selection is so touchy I literally sat for 6 minutes struggling to get it on one specific character without it jumping down the roster on me, then when I try to look at their stats, it switches them again. Really annoying. Little things like that put me off games.

Sure, the in-app purchases might sour some, but its hardly the bait-and-switch everyone is making it out to be. Ive bought a few packs and Im loving the option to play only the songs I want at a fraction of a cost of a 3DS and a seperate copy of the game. EDIT: its been over a year and I came back to experience the game again. Unfortunately, it runs poorly on my iPhone 5S. It lags and stutters in the middle of a song, and often results in me losing my note streak. Why did it run better on old hardware when I first purchased it? I doubt Square Enix is even reading these reviews, so Im I guess Im stuck with an inferior product.

Hi can you try to please fix a bug because when ever I finish a song lets say final fantasy ix battle 2 (boss theme) it sometimes kicks you out after finishing the whole song I would rate it 5 stars if you fix the app and keep it from crashing thank you.
